Flying high

So, one thing I wanted for the longest time is to own a drone. For years I’ve been watching content on YouTube from other people. Reading reviews, watching reviews. Keep an eye on the prices.

This year I finally bit the bullet. The plan was to wait until the end of May where, here in the Netherlands, we receive our vacation money. However, DJI decided to throw me a curveball and do a big discount of 30% in March.
So that means I am now the proud owner of a DJI Mini 4K Fly more combo. One of their beginner drones.

This one comes with the drone itself, obviously, a controller, 3 batteries, a charging dock for the batteries (not shown), spare propellers and a nice carrying bag to store the drone and take it with you.

This drone is capable of filming in 4K@30FPS or 2.7K@60FPS. 1080 is also possible at max 60FPS.
It can also create photos. It can even take 360 photos and panoramic photos.

Below is a short video of my first flight. This was recorded sunday March 15th in Borculo.
The footage was not edited at all bar some cuts near the end. In the future I hope to be able to create more video’s of flights. There are plenty of amazing spots in my area including a functioning windmill and Castle Twickel.
