What is Paystreak?

Paystreak is a a management game. You run your own gold mining claim. You inherited a gold claim from your late uncle.
The land you got has 1 cut open, no equipment and no employees. Well, you got your uncle’s old friend and employee helping you out to start off and gives you goals to reach.

You don’t actually do any of the hard labor yourself. You hire diggers, machine operators, gold panners and mechanics and set them to work. They’ll do the hard work, you get to sell the gold and spent the cash.

What do you do?

As I said, you don’t do the hard work. You hire the workers, equipment and set them to work.
In the Demo, the equipment is limited to a tier 1 and tier 2 wash-plant.
Further more you can get a small digger and loader. The tier 2 wash-plant and machine’s unlock later in the demo.

In the beginning the game holds you by the hand and leads you through the steps. You have the option to disable this if you please but for first time players I recommend leaving it on.

Conclusion

So I played the demo once. My pc is just at the limited system requirements but in general it ran the game just fine.
When more workers are on the claim I did notice a few slowdowns but maybe I needed to tweak the graphics a bit more. Also, my graphics drivers are out of date so.

The graphics itself give a retro vibe which I like and this type of games do not rely on fancy graphics anyway.

What I did notice is that the game started off slow but once you can place multiple wash-plants the game takes off.
It might be that for the demo, they buffed a few things and on the full game, progress takes longer.
I especially noticed this when I finished the available cut in 3 seasons where the demo gives you 4 to complete.
